Formal valuations do incur a fee and vary depending on a number of factors. Please note John Crawford Marine will not complete a formal valuation without viewing the trailer boat in person.

If a “Desktop” valuation is required, this will be referred to as an “Estimate”, as the vessels details and pictures are submitted by email. It is reported as an estimate as the boat is not inspected in person by our valuer, therefore the true condition cannot be verified nor established.

Formal Valuations once completed are paid for and then forwarded by PDF and emailed plus a hard copy is mailed by post.

Inspections are to be completed via prior arrangement on site at John Crawford Marine, as mechanical inspections of the motor is formally required and most “inspectors” that offer this service as “come to you” are not trade mechanics.

Once the inspection is completed and paid for, the report and photos are then forwarded by emailed PDF and a hard copy is also provided.
