MANAGING DIRECTOR
Matthew commenced working for John Crawford Marine 1999 and in 2004, took the helm, purchasing the business with his wife Anita. Matthew says "as a custodian of the business whilst under my stewardship, I respect John Crawford's name and our loyal customer base, now spanning 4 generations. I continue to remain focussed on buying and selling Qld's best used trailer boats backed with our team's experience and reputation."

WORKSHOP MANAGER
Eric has been part of the John Crawford Marine journey for over 35 years, starting as a contracted mobile outboard mechanic in 1989. Mid 1990's Eric joined the business full time and is a valued team member with decades of experience in outboard problem solving, pre-sale boat and trailer reporting, boat handovers including on water tuition and as a mentor to younger work experience people and fellow staff. How can we clone him?

IN-HOUSE FINANCE MANAGER AND BOOKKEEPER
Karen keeps the sales team in check as she crunches the numbers! Not only talented in bookkeeping but also has an in-depth knowledge of the finance system including banking that helps our buyers when financing a quality boat from John Crawford Marine. Karen loves a good book (and wine), her two boys and has a penchant for loving life!

ADMINISTRATION AND MARKETING SUPPORT
Front of house, Kerry welcomes our customers at reception or on the phone with a very friendly hello and strives to help people with their boating related enquiries. Following up with post-sale communication, maintaining the listings on our webpage and socials along with keeping the sales team in check with paperwork and quotes! When not at JCM, she loves exploring the SE Qld corner, camping with family and friends.

SALES CONSULTANT
Jim retired from the corporate end of town and found there is only so much golf, fishing and gardening that can be done in a week. Becoming bored, and missing personable interaction with like minded people, JCM welcomed Jim to be part of the team. Further sharing his life time of fishing and boating experience with our customers in helping them without "commission motivation", to offer and provide unbiased and experience boating advice.

OPERATIONS MANAGER
Peter has a lifetime of working within the Marine Industry and offers a diverse range of skills managing the day-to-day operations of John Crawford Marine. A role that requires a hands-on approach to ensure all departments are working smoothly and he co-ordinates Handovers / the Detailing bay / Workshop refurbishments / Parts / Servicing and the boat yards layout. Loving nothing more than a fish in stealth mode aboard his paddlecraft.

TRAILER BOAT REFURBISHER
Stuart has worked with some of the most prestigious automotive manufacturers in the UK, however the lure of the Brisbane weather and boating industry is a hands down winner. Now relocated and learning Aussie slang, Stuart has an eye for detail, ensuring the refurbished trailer boats that JCM brings to market continue to be of a very high standard for our customers.

CASUAL GROUNDSMAN AND BOAT CLEANER
Chris also retired from the corporate end of town and like Jim became bored quickly. Having a shared passion for boats and gardening like Matthew, he's a valued member of the team giving 110% to the maintenance and appearance of the grounds, gardens and boats. A perfectionist by nature Chris goes about his duties with care, attention and an enviable thoroughness.

CASUAL BOAT WASHER
Jamie is currently studying Emergency Paramedics and between studying and enjoying being a teenager, works at JCM washing and maintaining the stock boats to ensure the boats are presented at all times, ready for inspection. Jamie appreciates that attention to detail matters and has learnt from Matthew that "Detail is Retail & Retail is Detail".

CASUAL BOAT WASHER
Ryan enjoys starting with a poorly presented boat and by the end of the detail enjoys the reward of seeing the completed job and the difference it makes detailing with good technique, quality materials and equipment. Ryan also enjoys learning the numerous skill sets on offer working at JCM, including the art of detailing, workshop tools and maintenance tasks, to helping the sales team in busy times.
