This one owner, 55 hour old Southern Formula was built to be used as a serious offshore fishing boat for chasing pelagics to dropping leads, now an opportunity exists for a serious offshore angler to own this unique and heavily optioned fishing package.

Southern Formula boats are proudly Australian made in Melbourne by the Haines Hunter brand and designed to produce greater performance over older classic designs with features providing better ride quality, improved stability, more efficient hull, dryer ride with overall features and modern improvements to internal design for new technology and electronics.  

Its an impressive boat, no argument - On and off the water, tough, sleek and has huge presence for a what is modelled as a 19 footer, makes some surrounding “19 / 5.8m” boats around it on the boat yard look rather small.

There is already a huge amount of detailed written material on this package easily found online, so rather than go into this spiel, lets focus on what we have on offer.

First registered new in January 2020 to the local owner, the boat incorporates the reassurance of twin outboards as top speed was not a priority nor needed, fuel economy at trolling speeds and with the view of boating in some of Australia’s most remote places, twins were a must.

Dual Mercury 115Hp Command Thrust CT four strokes were fitted and have recorded a low 55 hours of use. Both engines have just been serviced by our local Mercury Service Centre prior to listing and balance of factory warranty remains.

The engines spin “Enertia”  stainless steel propellers on counter rotating gearboxes. Naturally hydraulic steering is fitted and the engines are fuelled via the underfloor 280L fuel tank (to be confirmed).
