How’s this one owner since new Whitestar 6000 by Goldstar Boats WA?
Check out the lines, the beautiful raised shearline, and sensational transom set up…. must give it credit where its deserved, this is one stylish and very practical plate alloy fishing boat.
Purchased new in 2009 and re-trailered in February 2019 with the Redco Sportsman RE190T-MO multiroller trailer. The trailer was set up for drive on and off and if conditions don’t allow (or experience) a walkway is fitted. The trailer is dressed with alloy dress rims, includes a spare wheel and mechanical over ride disc brakes are fitted.
We all desire four stroke efficiency and economy, the rig is powered by a Suzuki 150Hp DF4 stroke that has full-service history by the one Suzuki service centre in the Redlands since new. The rig predominantly has been trailered up to 1770 and Agnes Waters for fishing out the front when weather window allows. So a lot of either running at cruise speed or trolling finding the reef structure. The motor has recorded a faultless 978 engine hours running (1018 on the analogue gauge)
Our confidence is such that we further back the rig with a 3 month BIA engine warranty. The Suzuki spins a stainless steel prop and steering is light via the Hydrive hydraulic steering system. And range is assured with an underfloor 200L fuel tank.
If you enjoy the night bite, then the cabin will offer some comfortable reprieve with upholstered cushions and plenty of room and storage.
The helm is well laid out with the electronics in line of sight, comfortable seating and we like the detail on the dash with cup holders and storage tray. Overhead a bimini offers shade from the midday sun, with an extension cockpit cover and further protection from the spray and wind via the front and side clears.
The seating is atop two large storage boxes that would provide ample room for the safety gear and excess tackle gear as pictured. The cockpit is just huge, with tubular soft floor matting for comfort underfoot and this can be removed when hosing down the decks after a day out. Open the back scuppers and keep the rig clean by throwing some buckets of water around.
The transom is wonderfully designed with very easy boarding when on the trailer or when afloat with the over sized boarding ladder and swim platform. A walk-through transom is class leading and the fishing station is also well made for the avid angler.
