Hi Matthew, Ron and the team at JCM, Greg Mackrodt here from the old WMYC days. Just read Matthew's account of the trailer sailer manufacturing scene in Oz. Could you let the market know that Geoff & I continue to market & build both the Ross 780 & Airwave 990 designs. Geoff has been building Ross 780's since 1987 and intends to continue to do so for many years to come. He has only built 2 Airwave 990's but they will continue to be available. As you may recall, I became involved about 12 years ago and look after marketing & all of the fit out work. From around 1997 until 2007 we built around 12 Mk II's & 30 or so Mk III's. Since then orders have nearly stagnated but we have now almost finished the latest Ross 780 'E' version which has been sold to a local engineer. Please see attached details of this boat. Also please note our website www.trailersailer.com.au Yes, we are a small business, but not only because of the small market for TS's in Oz but also because it is a lifestyle business for us both. We are a big supporter of JCM & have referred & will continue to refer heaps of potential customers to you as we have done over the years. Many of our enquiries are from people who cannot afford a new Ross and sometimes even a second-hand one but I tell them about the range of boats that you often stock.
