Within the last week John Crawford Marine has had reports of 4 different stolen vessels from the Wynnum/Manly and Redlands districts.  John Crawford Marine is encouraging owners to spread the word on boat security, particularly for boats kept in front yards where the residents are away for most of the day.

We encourage the use of theft deterrents like coupling securing devices and wheel braces. John Crawford Marine are agents for Club Marine Insurance if you don't have cover. If you are insured with another insurer, we would advise you to check your policy to ensure adequate cover is on your boat and check their fine print!
