Matthew Hodson, The Boss Matthew commenced working at John Crawford Marine in 1999 in sales and liked it so much, he bought the company five years later making him JCM’s third owner. His passion for boating and Marine Industry related issues is evident. He works closely with Marine Queensland (the industry’s representative body), as well as boat show committees and is a regular contributor to boating magazines. Matthew and Anita are proud to continue the John Crawford Marine tradition as Queensland’s leading used boat specialists. Matthew spends his spare time with family, boating and driving his restored 1970 Mini Cooper S.  Anita Hodson Anita Hodson, The Boss’ Boss Anita maintains the administration role including accounts and bookkeeping for John Crawford Marine. Since joining the company in 2003 she more than capably combines this role whilst also raising her and Matthew’s two children, Ryan and Gemma. When Anita isn’t doing admin at JCM, she enjoys nothing more than spending time with family, friends and, of course, boating.  Eric Jones Eric Jones, Service Manager Eric’s wealth of practicable knowledge in marine mechanics is legendary. Eric started working at John Crawford Marine in the late 80’s. Since completing his apprenticeship with OMC some 25 years ago he has become the ultimate problem solver. Eric services all major brands sold through John Crawford Marine and also ensures all trailers are sold in roadworthy condition. When not working in the workshop, Eric can be found socialising with family and friends or riding his beautiful motor bike in the hills west of Brisbane.  Ron Edwards Ron Edwards, Sales Professional Ron joined John Crawford Marine in 1987 specialising in the sale of Trailer Sailers and his knowledge of trailer sailers is second to none. He welcomes the opportunity to share this knowledge with you as he proudly walks you through the stock on offer at John Crawford Marine. Now semi-retired, Ron shares his time with us, his wonderful family and his beloved sail boat.

 Rohan Paterson Rohan Paterson, Workshop hand Rohan is currently studying for his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree, with only 2 years of external studying left, his role is helping Eric and the sales team with deliveries and mechanical assistance. Rohan most enjoys the on water demonstrations! Has a passion for boating, camping, trail bike riding and fishing. Any Civil Engineering business looking for a graduate in the near future should contact us. Rohan's work ethic is second to none, punctuality and attention to detail is excellent. Good morning Matthew, The trip home with the Markham Dominator to Gladstone went without a hitch, alas any bystanders would have observed the grin on my face resembled that of a "rat with a gold tooth"! Right front bearing ran much hotter than the other's for the first 250km & then settled back to the same temp there after. Because the temp wasn't excessive I resisted the temptation to mess with it, I have encountered this before in my trucking days & seen those bearings last indefinatly. To say I love those brakes is an under statement & only real indication that there was a boat behind the Cruiser was the noise from the engine. Cruiser sat on 100 klicks all the way home, temp gauge never budged, being a petrol though the fuel consumption at that pace was very impressive at 27-30 litres per 100kms. Good thing I only live 8kms from the boat ramp! Thankyou to you all for the smooth transition into the boat (& Cameron @ finance), I'm very happy with my purchase & proud to have your advertising logo's on the boat & trailer, you clearly have a well oiled team who are good at & enjoy their work, well done!!!
