Your Trailer Sailer Library is great - a real credit to you. I found it invaluable in making comparisons and it aided my second purchase of a T.S. Will pick up my Cole 19 this weekend, but I notice no info on this boat - anything new or just not available ?? Matthew, Just letting you know that I took the Bermuda out Friday night overnight in the Broadwater, rough as guts, but handled it beautifully and caught plenty of fish. Backed up again on Sunday for Water Skiing, pulled me out of the water no problem, gotta be happy with that. Had a problem though, but don't think you'll be interested in the waranty claim. Whilst skiing, a 200mm Brown Snake came out of the front of the leg, must have been getting a bit hot down there. Back on shore, I got the gaff into it, but he broke away and went back down the leg. I suppose you don't want to fix this problem LOL!!!! Regards Jeff Crone

Hi Geoff, Just to let you know the boat arrived last Friday morning. The transit to Cairns, whilst slow, seems to have been okay. The upper bow roller on the trailer is not there, but easily fixed. We are from yesterday now at Lake Macquarie (see attachments) so the boat is having to be parked at home until near Christmas. Lynne and I would like to thank you and John Crawford Marine for making this such an easy transaction given it was all done over distance. As I said the ironic thing is that that but will re-locate to Runaway Bay Marina in 2012. I'll tow it down this time ! Cheers for now, Ian & Lynne

Good morning Matthew, The trip home with the Markham Dominator to Gladstone went without a hitch, alas any bystanders would have observed the grin on my face resembled that of a "rat with a gold tooth"! Right front bearing ran much hotter than the other's for the first 250km & then settled back to the same temp there after. Because the temp wasn't excessive I resisted the temptation to mess with it, I have encountered this before in my trucking days & seen those bearings last indefinatly. To say I love those brakes is an under statement & only real indication that there was a boat behind the Cruiser was the noise from the engine. Cruiser sat on 100 klicks all the way home, temp gauge never budged, being a petrol though the fuel consumption at that pace was very impressive at 27-30 litres per 100kms. Good thing I only live 8kms from the boat ramp! Thankyou to you all for the smooth transition into the boat (& Cameron @ finance), I'm very happy with my purchase & proud to have your advertising logo's on the boat & trailer, you clearly have a well oiled team who are good at & enjoy their work, well done!!! I noticed, during the browsing, that you have only one photo of a Nomad 20. Attached is another couple, a digital copy of slides. I have more if they are of any interest to you!. I purchased this boat “Delphinus” from John Russell at John Crawford Marine for (as far as I can recall after all these years) $6,300 in 1978. John sold the boat on consignment for me several years later after we had cruised it extensively, for around the same price. There is one advertised in Sydney currently that looks suspiciously like her and its still the same price!. Nice work from JCM when it came to buying my boat. I had a price range and a style and they were able to match it pretty well spot on with a boat not just good for the area up here, but just about as perfect as you could hope for. I can go out to the reef or lure bash the creeks for barra and Jacks if it gets too blowy. The rig is perfect for both. JCM's expertise helped to no end and my boat gets used heaps as a consequence. Well done fellas!

Hi Matthew, It floats ! I picked up the Haines Hunter Prowler last week after getting back from Darwin; in fact she was ready for me only 14kms from the Melbourne airport so we went straight there and picked it up on the way home. Attached is a pic of the prowler at the local boat ramp (St Helens, Geelong) … I’m hanging on to her because she is shivering … will have to get used to our colder waters ! The rig is now registered in Vic. Just for your info in case you sell again to Vic ( I had some hassle ) the registration branch in Vic wants to see the trailers VIN number stamped on the chassis, the riveted plate is not good enough. Some quick belting with a hammer and number and letter dies quickly fixed that. Thanks for all of your help! Regards Danny

I put in at Victoria Point and headed out through the south passage for a spot of fishing on the reef. The weather was good, winds 10-15 with a fair bit of chop but the boat handled really well. I have contacted Allison boats re the fitting of the larger fuel tank and they seem really friendly and only too keen to assist.
